Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga release “Love For Sale”

The release, a follow-up to their previous album together, Cheek to Cheek (2014), includes 12 tracks from the songbook of American composer Cole Porter. They were recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City and “are a mixture of jazz ensemble, big band and orchestral arrangements.”

Tony Bennett, 95, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, announced in August that he was retiring from the stage. On his birthday in early August, he and Lady Gaga performed farewell concerts in New York City. Their TV version, as well as another concert and one documentary, will be shown on CBS, MTV and Paramount+ as part of a promotional campaign for the record in the coming months.
