Limp Bizkit released a new song instead of touring

The song was first shown to the public at a concert at Lollapalooza in July 2021. The band had previously canceled all of its scheduled 2021 live shows, explaining its decision with “concern for the safety of the band, the crew and, above all, the fans.”

“The system is still very flawed. Even if performers, teams, staff and promoters do everything they can to ensure safety on and off stage, it doesn’t ensure the safety of the audience as a whole. And we all have to do our best together, to be responsible, to fight and stop the spread of COVID,” commented Fred Durst on the band’s decision.

Limp Bizkit’s last studio album “Gold Cobra” was released in 2011.
