If we divide music into genres, modern critics divide music genres into three streams – rock, rap, and pop.

• Pop is contemporary music that is very popular. The term covers many genres such as trance, disco, house, funk, techno, new wave, etc.

• Heavy Metal. Sharp music, is characterized by disharmoniousness. Deviates from the usual standards of rock music.
• Trash. This genre is characterized by the complexity and continuity of the motive.
• Rap. As a genre, rap comes from dance music. Its distinctive features are the complex experiments with percussion, uneven rhythm, and the presence of looping. The main instruments are drums and bass, which are solo. Often the scratch effect is used – the screeching of the vinyl record.

As the musician said on Twitter, it happened when he was returning from a performance at the Isle of Wight festival. He inadvertently fell out of the helicopter at a height of 30.5 meters.

Although Liam seriously injured his face in the fall, he feels fine and hasn’t lost his sense of humor.

Inspired by such great bands as ABBA, the Rolling Stones and The Police, Thomas created his ode to love, “We Go Back,” with a special emphasis on backing vocals. In the song, if you really want to, you can hear the voices of Thomas’ 2-year-old daughter and his 80-year-old father singing the bass notes. Thomas’ close friends, spouse, guests, neighbors, friends and, of course, professional musicians also participated in the recording of the backing tracks.

“My new composition is about friendship, about first friends, about first love, and about light nostalgia for a carefree and beautiful time. I purposely used few words to let the listener not get attached to the lyrics and immerse themselves in pleasant memories,” Thomas admits.

“We Go Back” is a rock tune with drums, bass, guitar, organ, cowbell and more. Soren Andersen of Medley Studios worked on the song’s mixing.

It is their first studio album with Billy Sherwood since The Ladder (1999), who replaced founding bassist Chris Squire after his death in 2015, and the first album without the original lineup. The album was produced by guitarist Steve Howe.

Most of the music for “The Quest” was written in late 2019, with the rest to be written in 2020. White and Sherwood first recorded their drum and bass parts at Uncle Rehearsal Studios in Van Nuys, California, while Schellin contributed percussion. After sharing the band’s recording files online, Davison traveled to England to join Downs and Howe at Curtis Schwartz’s studio, where the album was completed.

“It was a challenge for us,” Jeffrey Downs says. – But while it was familiar to me, having already worked remotely when I was making albums with Chris Braid, it was different for the other Yes guys.”

The Quest album has been released in a variety of formats, including CD, LP, Blu-ray Disc, and on digital platforms.

“Billy Sherwood and I recorded the entire rhythm section, bass and drums in Los Angeles at Uncle Studios. Billy’s really good at the recording studio, so we got everything sorted out pretty quickly,” Alan White says.

Auction house Bruun Rassmussen will auction off a tape of a 30-minute interview recorded by Lennon in Denmark in 1970. During an informal conversation with several local journalists and four schoolchildren, John also played several songs. One of them, titled “Radio Peace,” has never been recorded before.

The estimated value of the lot is between $31,000 and $47,500 (2.2 to 3.5 million rubles at current exchange rates). The buyer will also receive photographs from the meeting and a newspaper with an interview.

The “50 Heavy Metal Years” tour began Sept. 8 and was scheduled to end Nov. 5, 2021. The band played a show Sept. 26 at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky, with the next show scheduled for Sept. 29 in Denver.

But on Sept. 27, the band released a statement saying that Faulkner had been hospitalized because of heart problems.

“It is with deep regret that we have to postpone the remainder of our U.S. tour. As soon as we get any news from his doctors, we can plan new dates.”

Recall that on October 6, 2020, Wolfgang announced on his Twitter account that his brother Eddie Van Halen had died of cancer, putting the band’s future in great uncertainty.
